Community Acupuncture Clinic - Experience the benefits of community-style acupuncture with licensed acupuncturists Liza Pascal and Ayan Rivera. This donation-based clinic is a silent, cell-phone free, safe space to receive ear acupuncture. These simple treatments can have an immediate relaxing and transformative effect and is an effective tool for reducing stress, anxiety, fear, anger, depression, and fatigue. It is used worldwide, in thousands of settings, for addiction recovery and PTSD. Recipients also report an increase in creativity, mental clarity, better sleep, and focus. Liza & Ayan met in acupuncture school where they studied with 88th generation Taoist priest, Jeffrey Yuen. At a time when Traditional Chinese Medicine was the most commonly available style, it was rare to attend a school that taught in the Classical tradition. They learned Chinese Medicine as it was practiced before Mao Tse Tung rose to power and before the cultural revolution. As such, Liza & Ayan have access to many additional meridian systems and a mandate to treat the person, never the disease. Drop in on Wednesday nights between 6:30-8:00pm for 30-45 minute ear treatments. Pay what you can; no one is turned away for lack of payment. Cash or checks accepted.
