Yatri: Yoga for Emotional Healing - A 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher Training
15-Day Residential Course in the Beautiful Cascade Mountains, Washington State
June 16th, 1pm through July 1st, 1pm, 2018

Yatri is a holistic program rooted in classical Indian and Tibetan Yoga. It is based on 12 foundational principles which are practiced in tandem in order to experience a peace that is lasting rather than fleeting and a happiness that is stable and sustainable. The foundations are Wisdom, Motivation, Tribe, Personal Responsibility, Movement, Meditation, Thoughts, Communication, Nutrition, Art, Service and Joy.
Yatri offers practices to move through kleshas, the Sanskrit word meaning “destructive emotions and thought-patterns.” Kleshas drain one’s energy and cause blocks in the body and mind. Major kleshas include anxiety, depression, anger, attachment and fear.
The training is for anyone interested in adding a profound healing component to their yoga practices. Yoga students and teachers of all levels are welcome as well as mental health practitioners, therapists, coaches and health care professionals eager to pair together new science with ancient practice. If you have any questions about the training please contact Reema Datta.
Completion of this training qualifies you to take the advanced 300-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher training with Reema Datta. Topics include: Psychic Development, Dream Yoga, Plant Medicine, Yoga and Meditation for Trauma Recovery, Advanced Pranayama, Movement and Wisdom teachings, Shamanic journeying, Deeper understanding of healing modalities focusing on the energetic and gross bodies, Specific sequences of asana and meditation for anger, attachment, depression, isolation and fear.
