Therapeutic Yoga, Physical Therapy and Healing - Sue Steindorf blends 30 years as a physical therapist with the profound wisdom of yoga to create a multidimensional healing experience. She works with all ages, from infant to geriatric, and a diverse range of health issues and concerns. Whether it’s a child with disabilities or an adult with chronic pain or anxiety, Sue utilizes her unique knowledge, experience, and abilities to help people understand and trust their body’s capacity to heal and discover new patterns for living a healthy and vital life. 

​Sue has a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Washington and an MA in Physical Therapy from Boston University. Her yoga training includes: 200hr Integral Yoga teacher training; extensive yoga therapy education with Doug Keller; Yoga for depression with Amy Weintraub; Yoga therapy with Gary Kraftsow; Yoga for Cancer with Jnani Chapman; and Yin Yoga with Sara Powers. Yoga comes from the root to Yoke or connect and at the heart of her work is cultivating connections that bring balance and wholeness into our lives. Carol Ann has a BS in Physical Therapy, Ithaca College; Masters in Physical Therapy, Temple University; and a Doctor of Science in Neurologic Physical Therapy, Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She has completed 200 hours Registered Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga Garden; Accessible Yoga Training with Jivana Heyman; Adaptive Yoga Training with Matthew Sanford at Mind Body Solutions; and training in Yoga for Scoliosis with Elise Browning Miller.  In addition, she has taken courses on the integration of yoga and physical therapy, including a course applying the wisdom of Schroth therapy for scoliosis and yoga.

Sound & Forest Therapy - Joy Evans, MSW (she/her) combines trauma-healing modalities with sound and forest therapy to lead people out of the perpetual stress response, to reconnect with the details of the senses and return to clarity, centered self, and calm. Joy has a deep commitment to restorative practices. At the University of California, Berkeley, she led the team who developed the healing services, crisis response, and advocacy for students, staff and faculty impacted by sexual violence/harassment, intimate partner violence, and stalking. Inspired to make healing accessible to survivors of trauma and vicarious trauma, she began her private practice.

She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and self-designed her major in Cross-Cultural Perspectives on Gender at Vanderbilt University. She completed The Art of Sound Healing Level II certification through the Seattle Sound Temple, is a certified forest therapy guide through the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy, and in her third year of study with the School of Celtic Consciousness. Joy welcomes folks from all backgrounds, especially LGBTQ+ and BIPOC to her in-person and virtual offerings.

Holistic Mental Health Care - Ann Strickland, MACP, LMHCA (she/her) has served the spiritual, musical, and emotional needs of the Bainbridge Island community for over 20 years. She has led music in intergenerational spiritual communities, notably as Music and Arts Director at Grace Episcopal Church on Bainbridge Island, and is a student and teacher of Vedic mantra practices, presently studying with Shantala Sriramaiah. Ann has extensive experience facilitating spiritual retreats and developing curriculum to support people as they explore their own deep inner wisdom. Her experience allows her to understand the ways to work together, with compassion and attentiveness, to help clients explore their inner life.

As a transpersonal psychotherapist, Ann believes in acknowledging the spiritual, cognitive, creative, emotional, and physical selves to explore practices and paths which align these five realms. She values the power of music, visual art, poetry and movement to reveal and cultivate the strengths and innate potential of each person. Specializing in trauma-sensitive, somatic, transpersonal and expressive arts modalities, Ann believes wholeheartedly in practicing with deep humility regarding cultural and identity awareness, and is LGBTQ+ affirming.

Ann is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, music teacher, and non-profit leader.
